Growing up in Hong Kong, Yoki moved to Vancouver to pursue a B.A. (Honours) in Anthropology from UBC. It was during those four years that Yoki learned about qualitative and quantitative research skills through experiences like working at an ethnographic field school and completing a thesis project with a local software company.
Discovering a world outside of academia when completing her Master of Management degree at UBC, Yoki realized her interests in marketing research when she took part in a Community Business Project, consulting for a local non-profit.
Yoki joined Sentis right out of university. Prior to that, she held intern positions both in Hong Kong and Vancouver - and had a brief stint in the food services industry serving sandwiches.
Outside the office, Yoki tries to go kickboxing, snowboarding, play field hockey, and explore new restaurants. But most of the time, she’s likely lounging about enjoying a good TV show.
