Born and raised in Ottawa, Samantha (Sam) moved to Vancouver in the fall of 2017. Before trekking out west, Sam earned a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours), with a specialization in Sociology from the University of Ottawa. While pursuing her degree, she also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Tasmania, in Australia.
In 2017, Sam completed her Graduate Certificate in Marketing Research & Business Intelligence from Algonquin College. This is where she learned the ins and outs of marketing research – writing proposals, managing projects, analyzing data and presenting the results. Sam and several of her Algonquin classmates teamed up to enter the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) National Student Research Competition – and came away with one of the top prizes.
Before joining Sentis, Sam worked as a data analyst for the Privy Council Office and Statistics Canada. She was also a board member of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) in Ottawa, where she helped plan and promote MRIA events.
When not at the office, you can find Samantha practicing yoga, travelling, hiking, or simply exploring Vancouver.
